Day 1: Cairo → El Alamein → Siwa Oasis
Begin your journey from Cairo toward the remarkable landscapes of Egypt’s Mediterranean coast and Western Desert.
Your private WOW TOURS EGYPT driver will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo and begin the journey toward El Alamein.
Visit the El Alamein War Museum and the principal Commonwealth, German and Italian military cemeteries, where the history of the Second World War in North Africa remains deeply present across the landscape.
Continue with a short stop along the Mediterranean coast before heading farther west into the vast landscapes of the Western Desert.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant along the way before continuing your journey to Siwa Oasis.
Upon arrival in Siwa, check in at your selected lodge and take some time to relax and settle into the peaceful atmosphere of the oasis.
In the evening, explore Siwa Souk in the heart of town, with local dates, olive products, spices, traditional handicrafts, and products made by Siwan families.
Then Enjoy dinner and spend your first night in Siwa.

Day 2: Siwa Oasis — Ancient Heart, Springs, Salt Lakes & Sunset
After breakfast, your WOW TOURS EGYPT Egyptologist guide will be waiting for you. Begin at Shali Fortress, the historic heart of Siwa and one of its most distinctive landmarks. Walk among the remains of the old settlement and its traditional kershef architecture.
Continue to the Temple of the Oracle of Amun, one of Siwa’s defining ancient sites and where Alexander the Great was declared as the son of God and the king of Upper & Lower Egypt.
Explore the ancient tombs carved into Mountain of the Dead, where the surrounding desert cliffs preserve another chapter of Siwa’s past.
Then discover one of Siwa’s most extraordinary natural landscapes at Siwa Salt Lakes, where clear water contrasts with brilliant white salt formations.
Continue through the palm and olive groves and experience a glimpse of traditional oasis life before stopping at the famous Cleopatra’s Spring.
As the afternoon fades, head to Fatnas Island for sunset. Sit among the palms and peaceful waters as the light changes across the oasis and surrounding desert.
Overnight Siwa Oasis

Day 3: Great Sand Sea — 4x4 Adventure, Sandboarding & Desert Sunset
After breakfast, set out by private 4×4 vehicle from Siwa into the Great Sand Sea.
Feel the landscape change as the dunes rise around you. Enjoy dune driving across the larger sands, with time for sandboarding and photographs in the middle of the desert.
Continue toward Bir Wahed area, where you can enjoy the desert springs and swim, subject to local conditions.
Then slow the pace and enjoy traditional desert tea with time to take in the quiet of the dunes.
As the sun begins to fall, settle into the desert landscape and watch the Great Sand Sea sunset before returning to Siwa.

Day 4: Siwa Oasis → Cairo

Visit Dakrour Mountain, closely connected with local Siwan traditions and the annual Siyaha festival.
