Step beyond the Nile and into the land of eternity.

Luxor’s West Bank is where the ancient Egyptians prepared for the afterlife — a landscape of golden cliffs, hidden tombs, and temples carved for eternity. This tour takes you deep into the world of pharaohs, queens, and divine legends, blending history, adventure, and unforgettable storytelling.

Your WOW TOURS EGYPT guide will pick you up from your hotel or Nile Cruise in Luxor. As you cross to the West Bank, the scenery shifts from green fields to dramatic desert mountains – the same sacred landscape the ancient Egyptians chose for their eternal resting place.

This is where the sun sets each day… and where they believed life began again.

Hidden deep within the cliffs of the Theban mountains lies the legendary Valley of the Kings, burial place of Egypt’s most powerful rulers of the New Kingdom.

Here, you will visit three royal tombs, each one uniquely decorated with vivid wall paintings that have survived for over 3,000 years. These tombs were not just graves – they were spiritual maps guiding the king through the underworld to eternal life.

Every chamber tells a story, and every wall is a masterpiece of ancient belief and artistry. It’s an adventure underground – mysterious, beautiful, and deeply moving.

Optional visits to famous tombs such as Tutankhamun (extra ticket) can also be arranged for those who wish to stand face to face with history’s most legendary young king.

Next, you visit one of Egypt’s most striking architectural wonders:  Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari.

Built into towering limestone cliffs, this temple looks almost modern in design, with elegant terraces rising in harmony with the mountain behind it. But its story is even more extraordinary.

Hatshepsut was one of the few women to rule Egypt as pharaoh. She did not hide her power, she embraced it, ruling in peace and prosperity, commissioning grand monuments, and sending trading expeditions to distant lands.

Next, visit the two colossal statues of Amenhotep III Known as (Colossi of Memnon), These two giant statues, which once guarded the entrance to the temple of Amenhotep III, are a popular photo stop. Standing over eighteen meters tall, they’ve withstood the test of time.

After your exploration, you will be transferred back to your hotel or Nile Cruise in comfort, carrying with you stories of pharaohs, queens, and a civilization that believed death was only the beginning.
