Your day begins with a warm welcome from your WOW TOURS EGYPT Egyptologist guide, who meets you at your hotel or Nile cruise lobby, ready to unlock the stories of ancient Thebes, You will be transferred by a modern air-conditioned vehicle to West Bank of Luxor, home to some of Egypt’s most significant archaeological treasures – to visit the two colossal statues of Amenhotep III Known as (Colossi of Memnon), These two giant statues, which once guarded the entrance to the temple of Amenhotep III, are a popular photo stop. Standing over eighteen meters tall, they’ve withstood the test of time.
Then visit The Valley of the Kings, where the magnificent tombs of the ancient Egyptian kings were discovered, those tombs were curved deep into the desert rock, richly decorated and filled with treasures for the afterlife of the pharaohs. The Valley of the Kings contains over sixty tombs, many adorned with vibrant wall paintings depicting the pharaohs’ journey to the afterlife. giving you a glimpse of the incredible craftsmanship. Entry to the Tomb of Tutankhamun is not included but can be arranged upon request.
The journey continues to the magnificent Hatshepsut Temple Known as El Deir El Bahary, This majestic mortuary temple honors Egypt’s most successful female pharaoh, Hatshepsut. It’s carved into the cliffs and features a series of terraces, statues, and stunning reliefs that tell the story of her reign.
After exploring the West Bank, Have a delicious Lunch at a local restaurant with fabulous view on the Nile.
Then you’ll cross back over the Nile to the East Bank of Luxor, where the city’s grandest temple awaits:
Karnak Temple Complex, this is one of the largest and most impressive religious sites in the world. The temple is dedicated to the god Amun-Ra and was expanded over 2,000 years by various pharaohs. The highlights include the Hypostyle Hall with its 134 massive columns, the Sacred Lake, and the towering obelisks. It’s a place where you can truly feel the grandeur of ancient Egyptian worship.
Finally, visit Luxor Temple, gracefully standing at the heart of the modern city. Unlike other temples, Luxor Temple was dedicated not to a god, but to kingship itself. It was here that pharaohs renewed their divine right to rule, linking human leadership with cosmic order.
At the end of the day, you return to your hotel or Nile cruise, carrying with you the memories of one of Egypt’s most historic cities.
