Day 1: Luxor to Aswan “the high Dam, the Philae temple and Nubian village

Your first stop is the High Dam, one of the greatest engineering achievements of the 20th century. Built in the 1960s, the mighty Aswan High Dam reshaped Egypt’s future by controlling the Nile floods and creating Lake Nasser, one of the world’s largest artificial lakes.

Next, visit The Temple of Philae, a magnificent temple, rising from the waters of the Nile on its own island, is a breathtaking blend of mythology, history, and architectural beauty. This ancient wonder, dedicated to goddess Isis, stands as one of Egypt’s most magical and well-preserved temples.

Philae’s allure goes beyond its spiritual significance. The peaceful setting, where temple columns and stone walkways seem to rise directly from the Nile, makes for an otherworldly experience. The Temple of Philae is a place where Egypt’s mystical past and natural beauty come together in perfect harmony, offering an unforgettable journey through the heart of its ancient wonders.

Have a delicious lunch at a traditional Restaurant

Then get ready to visit The Nubian village board a motorboat for a peaceful sail along the Nile, passing iconic landmarks such as Elephantine Island, the Aga Khan Mausoleum, the Old Cataract Hotel, and lush river islands. The water sparkles, the breeze cools, and the landscape slowly transforms.

Along the way, there is time to swim in the clear Nile waters or relax on soft golden sand before continuing toward the Nubian Village.

Visiting The Nubian village is like stepping into a vibrant painting, bursting with color, culture, and warmth. Known for its vividly painted houses. Walking through its narrow streets feels like entering a living museum, where ancient traditions blend seamlessly with daily life.

Once you arrive – You are warmly welcomed into a Nubian home, where you learn about daily life, architecture made of natural materials, and customs passed down through generations. Enjoy a traditional welcome drink, take memorable photos (including with the famous Nubian pet crocodiles), and stroll through the village markets filled with handmade crafts, spices, and dates.

What makes the Nubian village truly special is the spirit of the people. Famous for their hospitality, the Nubians welcome visitors with open arms, sharing not only their homes but their rich history, music, and cuisine. Every corner of the village offers something to discover, from intricate henna designs to traditional handicrafts made by skilled artisans. And after you finish. you will take the motorboat back to the dock area to be transferred to check in your hotel in Aswan.

Day 2: Aswan to Abu Simbel & back to Luxor

Early Morning 04:30 am – This is the best time to start the tour to avoid the heatYour WOW TOURS EGYPT guide will pick you up from your hotel and you will be transferred by a modern air-conditioned vehicle to Abu Simbel about 03 hours’ drive.

Abu Simbel Temples are among the greatest masterpieces of ancient Egypt. Built by Ramses II for himself and his beloved wife Nefertari, they were designed to project power, devotion, and divine connection.

Abu Simbel Temples are not only a celebration of Ramses’ power but also a marvel of architectural precision. The Great Temple was built so that, on two specific days of the year—February 22 and October 22—the rays of the rising sun penetrate the inner sanctuary, illuminating the statues of the gods and Ramses II himself. This celestial event showcases the ingenuity of ancient Egyptian astronomers and builders.

Abu Simbel faced destruction due to the construction of the High Dam. In an engineering feat that mirrored the Egyptians’ own ingenuity, The 2 temples of Abu Simbel were cut into large blocks and relocated to higher ground.

Today, Abu Simbel is not just a relic of a bygone era but a living testament to human ambition, power, and perseverance.

After exploring The 2 temples of Abu Simbel, you will transfer back to Aswan.

Finally, you are transferred by private air-conditioned vehicle to Luxor, Aswan airport, Aswan train station or a hotel. or your chosen hotel — fully flexible to your onward plans.
