Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, your WOW TOURS EGYPT representative will meet you, assist with arrival formalities, and accompany you to your private vehicle.

Day 3: Alexandria — Greek & Roman Heritage by the Mediterranean
After breakfast, your WOW TOURS EGYPT Egyptologist guide meets you at your hotel and travel north toward the Mediterranean coast.
As Cairo fades behind you, Alexandria begins to reveal a very different side of Egypt — Begin at the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa,where you descend beneath the city into an extraordinary underground world where ancient Egyptian beliefs meet Roman and Greek artistic traditions. Back above ground, stand before Pompey’s Pillar, the towering Roman column rising from the ruins of the ancient Serapeum, once one of Alexandria’s most important temples.
Continue to the Roman Amphitheatre, where surviving marble seats offer a glimpse into the public life of Roman Alexandria nearly two thousand years ago. Then move from the ancient world to the modern city at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, a striking tribute to the legendary Library of Alexandria and its enduring connection with knowledge and discovery.

Your afternoon reveals another side of Alexandria.
