Begin among the legendary temples and royal tombs of Luxor, then follow the Nile south toward Aswan. Along the way, discover ancient temples beside the river, enjoy peaceful hours on deck and watch Egypt’s timeless landscapes unfold with every mile.

Day 1: Luxor — Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple & Embarkation

Welcome to Luxor, where the story of ancient Thebes begins.

Upon arrival in Luxor, your WOW TOURS EGYPT representative will meet and assist you, then introduce you to your private Egyptologist guide before beginning your sightseeing.

Begin your journey at Karnak Temple Complex, the vast religious center of ancient Thebes. Walk beneath the towering columns of the Great Hypostyle Hall, where towering columns create one of the most impressive surviving spaces of ancient Egypt.

Continue to Luxor Temple, standing beside the Nile at the heart of the ancient city. Its monumental entrance, colossal statues and elegant courtyards reveal another chapter of Theban history.

After sightseeing, continue to your Nile Cruise for embarkation and check-in.

Enjoy lunch on board, then take some time to relax on deck and watch the river landscape unfold.

In the evening, enjoy dinner on board and your first peaceful night on the Nile.

Day 2: Luxor West Bank — Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut, Colossi of Memnon, Esna Lock & Sailing to Edfu

After breakfast, your private Egyptologist guide meets you for your exploration of Luxor’s West Bank.

Begin at the Valley of the Kings, the legendary royal necropolis where generations of New Kingdom pharaohs were buried. Descend into selected tombs and discover the vivid scenes painted for the journey into the afterlife.

Continue to the Temple of Hatshepsut, rising dramatically from the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari. Its terraces and architecture tell the story of one of ancient Egypt’s most remarkable female rulers.

Then stand before the Colossi of Memnon, two enormous statues that have watched over the Theban plain for more than 3,000 years.

Return to the cruise and enjoy lunch as it begins sailing south.

Around 4:00 PM, enjoy traditional afternoon tea with cake and cookies while the Nile scenery drifts quietly past.

As the cruise continues south, pass through Esna Lock, where the vessel is carefully raised or lowered to continue along the Nile.

Enjoy a traditional Egyptian buffet for dinner, followed a Galabeya Party, bringing music, local traditions and a lively Egyptian atmosphere to the evening.

Day 3: Edfu — Temple of Horus, Kom Ombo & Sailing to Aswan

Wake to another changing view of the Nile and enjoy breakfast on board.

Visit Edfu Temple, one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt. Dedicated to the falcon god Horus, its monumental gateway, massive walls and beautifully preserved reliefs offer an extraordinary glimpse into the religious world of ancient Egypt.

Return to the cruise and continue sailing south toward Kom Ombo. Enjoy lunch on board and take time to relax on deck as the river landscapes pass by.

Later, explore Kom Ombo Temple, uniquely dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus. Its riverside setting and unusual double design make it one of the most distinctive stops along the Nile.

Return to the cruise and continue sailing toward Aswan.

Around 4:00 PM, enjoy afternoon tea with cake and cookies while the scenery slowly changes around you.

After dinner, enjoy an evening of traditional entertainment with a Nubian Show, celebrating the music, culture and colorful traditions of Nubia.

Day 4: Aswan — Philae Temple, High Dam & Disembarkation

After breakfast, disembark from your Nile Cruise and begin your final exploration in Aswan.

Then take a boat across the Nile to Philae Temple, beautifully situated on an island and dedicated to the goddess Isis. Surrounded by water, granite islands and the peaceful landscape of Aswan, Philae provides a memorable final chapter to your Nile journey.
