Leaving Dakhla behind, travel east toward Kharga Oasis. Explore Qasr Al-Ghweita, – Nadura Temple – an ancient temple dramatically positioned on higher ground overlooking the surrounding desert and cultivated oasis.

Continue to Qasr Al-Zayyan, another important Greco-Roman temple. Along the way, palm groves, desert springs, ancient routes, and traces of Roman presence reveal how these remote oases once supported travelers, soldiers, farmers, and communities far from the Nile Valley.
