Day 1: Arrival in Cairo & The Great Pyramids of Giza and Grand Egyptian Museum

Welcome to Cairo, Egypt – where history rises from the desert sands.

Your Egyptian adventure begins when your WOW TOURS EGYPT representative meets and assists you at Cairo International Airport (Arrival procedures).

and your WOW TOURS EGYPT Egyptologist guide escorts you in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle to The Great Pyramids of Giza.

Rising from the golden desert stand the Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure dominate the horizon. Built more than 4,500 years ago, these royal tombs are an awe-inspiring testament to human ingenuity and devotion to eternity. You walk across the plateau to the Valley Temple of King Khafre, where ancient priests performed sacred rituals preparing kings for the afterlife.

Nearby, you stand face to face with the Great Sphinx. With the body of a lion and the face of a king, this colossal guardian has watched the sunrise over Giza for thousands of years.

Step into the future of archaeology beside the past. The GEM welcomes you with the towering statue of Ramses II and leads you toward the full treasures of Tutankhamun, displayed together for the first time – including his golden mask, throne, chariots, and personal belongings that once traveled with a boy king into the afterlife.

Home to the world’s most iconic ancient artifacts and rare royal treasures from across Egypt’s dynasties, including the extraordinary silver coffin of King Psusennes I, one of the very few solid silver coffins to survive from ancient Egypt and a true masterpiece of royal funerary art.

The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC)
Here the spotlight falls on Egypt’s rulers themselves inside the dramatic Royal Mummies Hall, where you come face to face with legendary pharaohs such as Ramses II and Hatshepsut — kings and queens whose actual faces still carry the marks of history.

After a day filled with wonders of stone and gold, you head to your hotel in Cairo to rest.

Day 2: Luxor Day Tour & Return to Cairo

After breakfast, your WOW TOURS EGYPT representative picks you up from your hotel in Cairo to take a flight to Luxor.

Upon arrival your WOW TOURS EGYPT Egyptologist guide meets you at Luxor Airport, holding a sign with your name, and escorts you in a modern air-conditioned vehicle to West Bank of Luxor, home to some of Egypt’s most significant archaeological treasures – to visit the two colossal statues of Amenhotep III Known as (Colossi of Memnon), These two giant statues, which once guarded the entrance to the temple of Amenhotep III, are a popular photo stop. Standing over eighteen meters tall, they’ve withstood the test of time.

Then visit The Valley of the Kings, where the magnificent tombs of the ancient Egyptian kings were discovered, those tombs were curved deep into the desert rock, richly decorated and filled with treasures for the afterlife of the pharaohs. The Valley of the Kings contains over sixty tombs, many adorned with vibrant wall paintings depicting the pharaohs’ journey to the afterlife. giving you a glimpse of the incredible craftsmanship. Entry to the Tomb of Tutankhamun is not included but can be arranged upon request.

The journey continues to the magnificent Hatshepsut Temple Known as El Deir El Bahary, This majestic mortuary temple honors Egypt’s most successful female pharaoh, Hatshepsut. It’s carved into the cliffs and features a series of terraces, statues, and stunning reliefs that tell the story of her reign.

After exploring the West Bank, Have a delicious Lunch at a local restaurant with fabulous view on the Nile.

Then you’ll cross back over the Nile to the East Bank of Luxor, where the city’s grandest temple awaits:

Karnak Temple Complex, this is one of the largest and most impressive religious sites in the world. The temple is dedicated to the god Amun-Ra and was expanded over 2,000 years by various pharaohs. The highlights include the Hypostyle Hall with its 134 massive columns, the Sacred Lake, and the towering obelisks. It’s a place where you can truly feel the grandeur of ancient Egyptian worship.

Finally, visit Luxor Temple, gracefully standing at the heart of the modern city. Unlike other temples, Luxor Temple was dedicated not to a god, but to kingship itself. It was here that pharaohs renewed their divine right to rule, linking human leadership with cosmic order.

At the end of the day, you transfer to Luxor airport for your flight back to Cairo – carrying stories, photos, and memories that feel far bigger than three days.

Day 3: Departure

After breakfast, your WOW TOURS EGYPT representative transfers you to Cairo International Airport and assists you with departure procedures.

You leave Egypt having walked among kings and gods, felt the desert’s power, and experienced the Nile’s life-giving magic – all in just three unforgettable days.
